Woodend project

Constructed in the spring of 2019, we were proud to install this garden to turn a rather generic front yard into a productive veggie patch. Our client has a strong interest in growing fruit and vegetables and they now have 14 individual beds to harvest from. Beds were formed using a variety of materials to give many different contrasts across the front yard. This included stonework to form the outer edge of a curved garden bed, which could also be used as a seat.

The project included an outdoor summer kitchen, potting shed, arbours, stone steps, and a space for espaliered apples. A bay hedge was also installed to keep the veggie theme going through the front yard.
